Waig Crystal Spring Resort in Maramag, Bukidnon

Waig Crystal Spring Resort is one of the two most extensively-developed spring resorts (the other one is RR Family Spring Resort) in Maramag, Bukidnon. Located in Purok-8-A, Spring Site, North Poblacion, Maramag, Waig Crytal Spring Resort is  frequented by both local residents and tourists from neighboring places. Despite its proximity to the town proper, the 3.6-hectare resort is secluded by a lush vegetation and its swimming pools sparkle with crystal-clear spring waters.

Matin-ao Spring in Bangcud, Malaybalay City

Just like the Nasuli Spring Resort, Matin-ao Spring is one place I haven't visited in such a long time. I could still remember Matin-ao as my family's favorite picnic place when I was still a little kid. Compared to Nasuli, Matin-ao has more shallow areas making it a safe place to swim for children.

Matin-ao Spring is located in Barangay Bangcud, about 20 kilometers from Malaybalay City proper. It is right behind the Bangcud Elementary School and also fronting the Department of Agriculture Regional Crop Protection Center.

Revisiting Nasuli Spring Resort in Bangcud, Malaybalay City

Nasuli Spring Resort is a picnic and swimming spot located in Bangcud, Malaybalay City. It is about 20 kilometers away from Malaybalay City proper.

Way back when there are still no spring resorts in Bukidnon, Nasuli is a favorite outing spot of the local residents because of the ice cold spring water sprouting on its natural pool. Due to its proximity to Malaybalay (my hometown), we used to frequent this place during our high school years.

The Christmas Lights in Bukidnon Capitol Ground

On our way to the Christmas Lighting Ceremony at the Plaza Rizal in Malaybalay City last night (Dec. 1, 2010), we passed by first at the Capitol Ground to check also the Christmas lights installed there. I believe that this Christmas lighting of the Capitol Ground is a project of the Provincial Government of Bukidnon in cooperation with some private agencies.

The Christmas Tree Lighting in Malaybalay City
