These are photos taken during an official business trip to the Municipality of Kibawe. With my officemate doing some transactions in the Municipal Hall, I took the opportunity to take snapshots of the vicinity. Kibawe is one of the southernmost town of Bukidnon. In fact it is the second to the last municipality of Bukidnon before entering the Province of Cotabato.

Kibawe is a 4th class municipality bounded by Dangcagan on the north, Damulog on the south, Muleta River on the west and Magpet (North Cotabato) on the east. Kibawe is a politically subdivided into 23 barangays and majority of the land area is devoted to agriculture. Major crops planted include sugarcane, rice, corn and rubber.

my uncle used to work in the telecom office there. i also got the chance to stay over for a night. sleepy little town it is! :D

ReplyDeleteit was, but not anymore. . that was during the administration of Mayor Batao. . people were so disciplined .kibawe that time was awarded as the cleanest and greenest municipality. but it's so far different now.
