A march rally opposing House Bill 4244 (Reproductive Health/Responsible Parenthood Bill) was held today, March 25, 2011 in Malaybalay City. The rally, called Panaw sa Kinabuhi ug Kalinaw (March for Life and Peace), was organized by the Diocese of Malaybalay as part of the Catholic Church's nation-wide campaign to oppose the Reproductive Health Bill.
According to Bukidnon News Dispatch, around 5,000 parishioners participated in the rally.
The anti-RH Bill rally started at the Capitol Ground. The participants then marched to the City Covered Court (Freedom Park) where a mass was held.
