We went to the town of Kadingilan recently to do some official transaction at the municipal hall. Kadingilan is a 4th class municipality located in the southwestern border of the Province of Bukidnon. We arrived there at 12 noon and since the employees are on their noon break, we decided to park and wait under the shade of a giant tree fronting one of the municipal buildings. I took the opportunity to take some snapshots of the municipal hall compound.

Glimpses of Kibawe, Bukidnon
These are photos taken during an official business trip to the Municipality of Kibawe. With my officemate doing some transactions in the Municipal Hall, I took the opportunity to take snapshots of the vicinity. Kibawe is one of the southernmost town of Bukidnon. In fact it is the second to the last municipality of Bukidnon before entering the Province of Cotabato.

Rice Terraces in Kadingilan, Bukidnon
From an official field work in the Municipal Hall of Kadingilan, Bukidnon we passed along this small rice terraces beside the unpaved road going to the Municipality of Kibawe. Though not as grand and as spectacular as the world-famous Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao Province, this terraced paddy field in Kadingilan is still a refreshing sight to look at.
In Bukidnon, where palay is among the major crops planted, it is not unusual to see small terraced paddy fields like this one in Kadingilan. Farmers used this to cultivate hilly or mountainous areas and it is effective in decreasing erosion and surface runoff.
