The Google Mapping of Malaybalay City

I was one of the participants of the Google Map Up workshop held in Green Ridge Apartelle, Malaybalay City last August 25, 2011. The map up was organized by Engr. Bonzenti Panganiban, the blogger behind Contour Blog and President of the Bukidnon Photographers and Bloggers Society. The workshop was conducted by no less than the celebrity bloggers of SocSarGen region: Avel Manansala (www.gensantos.com), Dr. Remo Aguilar (http://tacurongcity.net), Alexis Chua (www.alexischua.com), Nanardx Zee (www.southcotabato.org) and Xyrilloid Landicho (www.xyrilloidlandicho.com).

I am voting for Bukidnon Online in the 2010 Philippine Blog Awards for two simple reasons:

1. Bukidnon Online is the most active website that is all about the Province of Bukidnon. It outperforms traditional media format and even the Province's official website in giving the latest information on what's happening around Bukidnon.

2. Bukidnon Online is the chief organizer of Bukidnon Bloggers, a group of new media practitioners which aim to further  promote Bukidnon to the whole wide world.

The first ever Bukidnon Blogging 101 and How To Make Money Online Workshop was held last Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Sir Edward's Grill and Seafood Restaurant in Malaybalay City. Organized by Bukidnon Online, the whole day event which drew over 40 participants from all over Bukidnon was a huge success.
