DPWH Overview Helipad in Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon

The DPWH Overview Helipad in Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon is right across the Overview Nature and Culture Park, also known as Ver Overview. Unlike the Overview Park, however, the helipad is not often frequented since going to its view deck requires a challenging uphill walk. Since it is located at a higher elevation, the helipad offers a wider vista of Bukidnon's rolling hills and mountains.

The helipad overlooks the Overview Nature and Culture Park

Kiantig Falls in Quezon, Bukidnon

Spotted this beautiful waterfalls while we were passing through the bridge which connects the road from Crystal Sugar Mill in North Poblacion, Maramag to Ozamis Agricultural Development, Inc. (OADI) compound in San Jose, Quezon, Bukidnon. Aside from the beautiful waterfalls, the river's bluish-green water and rock formations are also very interesting. I thought this falls is still part of Maramag but I found out from a colleague that this is area is called Sitio Kiantig and is already part of Barangay San Jose, Quezon. The bridge we passed through crosses over Pulangui River which serves as the natural boundary of the two municipalities.

Revisiting Luan-Luan Spring Resort in Quezon, Bukidnon

Before the more famous MGM Mountain Resort, RR Family Spring Resort, Waig Crystal Spring Resort and Edlimar Farm and Spring Resort were developed, there was Luan-Luan. Located in Poblacion, Quezon, Bukidnon, this municipal-owned resort used to be the most famous destination in the southern part of the province. I could still remember the first time I went here was during our high school field trip more than twenty years ago. I recently had the opportunity to get inside Luan-Luan Spring Resort once again during one of my travels when we decided to stopped over and eat our lunch here.

Under the Bridge of Dilapa (Quezon, Bukidnon)

Traveling around Bukidnon, even along the national highway, could sometimes bring pleasant surprises. Like when we passed by the bridge of Dilapa, Quezon, Bukidnon last Friday. We noticed the raging waters underneath cascading down the rock boulders. So we stopped by at the road side, walked into the middle of the bridge and took photos of the mini-waterfalls below.
