No less than 300 runners participated in the Panahik Night Run held last Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Malaybalay City. The race was part of Panahik Adventure Centre's 5th Anniversary celebration.
The 4-kilometer run started at around 6:00 PM. Starting line was near Jollibee Malaybalay and from there the race route was Fortich Street-Carbajal Street-Capitol-Bonifacio Drive-Magsaysay Street-Sta. Cruz Street-National Highway,Sumpong and back to the starting line.

After the run, medals were awarded to the top finishers while several items were also given away during the raffle. Sponsors of the Panahik Night Run 2011 are the following: Habagat Outdoor Equipment, T.W.O, Lagalag, Tukad Outdoors, Conquer Outdoor Equipment, Apexus Outdoor Equipment, Driftwood, V12 Radgear, Groundzero, Tropeak, Kanaway Outdoors, JRS Express, Philippine Red Cross, Malaybalay City Rescue Unit, Traffic Management Center and Philippine Life Saving.

oh wow! It's just today that I've discovered your photoblog and may I say that it certainly made me miss Bukidnon (even though I just spent the the holidays there).
ReplyDeleteI also run (currently training for the TBR Dream Marathon this coming March in Nuvali) and I hope to be able to join one of the fun runs in Bukidnon soon. =)

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately i got no copy of the results of Panahik Night Run. (Ronan Montero told me I can see it sa ila FB. Apparently, wala. Hmmmm.
Yes, it will jump start more running events.
One thing we are hooking up is the May 3 World Press Freedom Day (Bukidnon Run). (Although this one was planned before ko nidagan-nikamang-nibaklay sa night run. ha ha.
I hope it will push true.
