Valencia City, Bukidnon is located in the heart of Mindanao. It has a total land area of 621 square kilometers and is comprise of 31 barangays. Most of these barangays are considered "rural" where farming is the main economic activity. With the Pulangi River traversing these barangays, vast tracks of fertile lands are devoted to agriculture, particularly rice farming. Hence Valencia City is dubbed as The City of Golden Harvest.
