Conquering Asia's Longest Dual Zipline-Dahilayan Zipzone

(Zipzone is the main attraction of Dahilayan Adventure Park in Dahilayan, Manolo Foritich, Bukidnon. This post first appeared in my other blog, Philippine Travel Blog. This is the second of the four-part series of posts I made about our adventures in Dahilayan Adventure Park and Dahilayan Gardens and Resort. After eating breakfast at the Cowboys Grill and more picture taking, we walked back to Dahilayan Adventure Park.

We are now up and ready to experience the zipline rides!

This the take-off area for the 320-meter and 150-meter ziplines:

This is  the 320-meter zipline:

I took photos of zipliners who went ahead of us:

And finally it's my turn:

Being a first-timer in ziplining, I admit that I got a bit scared at first but a few seconds later my fears turned to excitement. Soaring above the world below was truly exhilarating!

The 320-meter zipline is immediately followed by the much shorter 150-meter ride.
These are the ropes course and wall climbing facilities located near the landing area of the 150-meter zipline:
After the first two ziplines, we walked back to the viewing deck.
These safari jeep then picked us up and took us to the take-off area of the 840-meter zipline:
The safari jeep ride was an adventure in itself. It was like we are in an off-road competition as the driver took us to the zipzone area with his devil-may-care driving.
Photos taken at the take-off point of Asia's longest dual zipline:
The Launch Tower
This will be your position before taking-off:

And next, you will be zooming from the launch point of 4,500 feet above sea level at a speed of up to 90 kph:
It was indeed a scream-inducing ride. It was also dreamlike and surreal flying above the lush greenery and breathtaking views of Dahilayan mountains.

After conquering Asia's dual zipline in Dahilayan Adventure Park, I could say that the the excitement is worth more than the price. It was my first time to try ziplining and I admit that I did experience the thrill of my life!
