It's business name is Kharlas Manokan, but it is actually well-known not so much for its lechon manok but for its mouthwatering pork liempo. Located in Poblacion, Maramag, Bukidnon (fronting PLDT Philcom office), Kharlas has been in operation for quite some time now. This is one of our favorite places to hang out, eat and drink in Maramag after a long day of work.

There's nothing fancy inside Kharlas Manokan--just wooden and bamboo tables and chairs, a mini-bar, music and TV to keep diners entertained.

However, the number one reason why many customers patronize Kharlas is their liempo. Lightly salted and grilled to golden brown perfection, this cholesterol laden food is best dipped in soy sauce with lemon and "sili" then paired with lots of rice and ice cold beer. Burrrpp!
