The New Maramag Municipal Hall

This helicopter on the grounds of the Maramag Municipal Hall is probably owned by a high profile guest of the municipal officials.

Constructed in 2001, the new Maramamag Municipal Hall is dubbed as the "MalacaƱang Palace of Bukidnon". It is located in Barangay Anahawon and covers a total land area of 5 hectares. The Maramag Municipal Hall houses not only the local government offices but also national government offices like the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Commission on Audit (COA). The Senior Citizen's Office, Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Public Attorney's Office, Crisis Intervention for Woman and Children and the Motor Pool are situated at the back portion of the municipal hall.

Maramag is a landlocked municipality of Bukidnon. It is approximately 158 kilometers southeast of Cagayan de Oro City, around 53 Kilometers south of Malaybalay City and 154 Kilometers from Davao City. With its strategic location, Maramag can be easily reached through any of the cities mentioned. It can also be reached from North Cotabato via Damulog which is the last municipality of Bukidnon on the southern side. The province of Bukidnon connects to Cotabato via the Damulog-Carmen (Cotabato) boundary. Maramag is bounded on the north and northeastern by the municipality of Valencia; on the east by the municipality of Quezon; on the south by the municipality of Don Carlos; and on the west by the municipality of Pangantucan, all within the Province of Bukidnon.
